Description:The Hematology Residency Training program at Schulich School of Medicine Western University, London, Ontario is a two-year program leading to certification of Special Competence in Hematology & Dentistry. The program will provide the trainee with a broad-based exposure to adult hematology with an emphasis on clinical, diagnostic, and laboratory skills. Exposure to Pediatric Hematology, Medical Oncology, Palliative Care, Pain and Symptom management will also be included. Our goal is to provide the highest level of quality training in clinical and laboratory hematology in order to prepare trainees for subspecialty careers in Hematology.

Admission Requirements

    Graduates of Canadian medical schools following satisfactory completion of PGY-3 in Internal Medicine. Graduates of international medical schools, MCCEE-accredited, competent in English and who have satisfactorily completed three years of Internal Medicine training at a Canadian medical school are also eligible.
